Suburban Security is a NYS Licensed, bonded and insured provider of Security Officer Services, exclusively servicing Nassau and Suffolk counties. Each and every service point on Long Island is in continuous communication with our 24-hour dispatcher station, as well as our field supervisors on patrol in our marked patrol vehicles. At Suburban Security we never lose sight of the fact that we are engaged in a client services based job. Each and every Security officer undergoes continuous training and education during their employment at Suburban. Knowledgeable and competent individuals will provide our service customers with a consistently applied Security Program, one our clients have come to depend on. a Security is not a "one size fits all job". Suburban Security will meet with you at your location to review needs, evaluate procedures and make recommendations. We recognize the necessity of understanding the day to day operations of your business, in order to create a security program comprehensive enough to serve you properly.

Suburban Security Officers must complete the NYS 8-hr pre-assignment training course and 16-hr in service training course. Additionally, any Security Officer assigned to a new location or service area is accompanied by a trainer for a period of acclimation. Our service points are visited regularly by our supervisory personnel to re-enforce existing procedures and alert our officers to revisions and/or temporary changes that can impact your program.

At Suburban Security communication is a priority with all our service points in constant contact with a dispatcher, accessible by private channel radio or telephone, 24 hours a day. Assistance, support and direction, is available to all our field personnel, meaning that they are never "on their own". This support system is key in not only protecting our clients, but in helping us maintain good working relationships with our employees.

All our Security Officers are New York State certified and registered with the Department of Criminal Justice Services. New applicants are required to complete detailed employment applications which allow our managers to conduct background and reference checks.
